 Holy Dormition Kiev-Pechersk Lavra.Caves Monastery was founded in 1051 by the Reverend Anthony of the Caves and is considered the cradle of monasticism in Rus’. Sightseeing tour with a visit to Nearby and Far caves, where the relics of 120 Pechersk reverends. 

Starokievskaya Mount - the historic city center. Desyatinna Church (989) - excavations. Visit of Desyatinny monastery. An overview: St. Andrew's Church, St. Andrew's descent, Michael's set-Michael Monastery, the Golden Gate.  

St. Sophia Cathedral. Built in the first half of the eleventh century. The cathedral survived the original frescoes and mosaics. In the crypt are the relics of St. Prince Yaroslav the Wise (1054). Visiting the Cathedral is stipulated in advance and paid extra. 

St. Vladimir's Cathedral. Miraculous Icon of Unexpected Joy, the relics of St.Varavara (306), and St. Macarius (1497), metropolitan of Kiev.

Day 2. 

Monasteries of Kiev. 

Podol –  the historic part of town. Visit of Florovsky nunnery. Relics of St. Kiev Elena, the source.

An overview: Postal Square, Kontraktova Square, Mohylyanskaya Academy, the Church of the Assumption Pirogoshchaya, Samson fountain. 

Vvedenskiy monastery. Miraculous icon  Prizri na smirenie, the relics of  builder of the monastery of St.Kiev Dimitra .

Ioninsky monastery of Holy Trinity. Located in a very picturesque place - in the town's botanical garden. Relics founder of the monastery of st. Jonah of Kiev. Prior to his arrival in Kiev st. Jonah was a novice at st. Seraphim of Sarov.

St. Michael's Monastery. The main relic of the monastery are Zvirynetsky caves (XI th century). The caves are the relics Zvirynetsky ascetics, the church, his cell-closures, many monastic burial.

If you have time and desire to possibly visit other monasteries of Kiev: Pokrovsky (relics of st. Anastasia of Kiev), Holosievo (relics of st. Aleksey Kiev), Kitaevo (relics of st. Theophilus), Feofania (holy springs, bathing).

Chernigov.

Trinity Cathedral. The relics of St. Theodosius, Bishop Filaret and st. Ambrose miracle workers of Chernigov. 

Anthony Cave - the cave monastery complex of the former Elias (XI th century). Underground church keliya st. Anthony Cave, the source of st. Anthony. 

Holy Assumption Monastery Yeletsky (XI th century). Miracle-working icons and Eletskaya Elijah.

Chernihiv Detinets. Svyato-Preobrazhensk Cathedral (1036), Boris and Gleb Cathedral (XII-th century), an observation deck.

St George's Monastery in Danevke. I am the miracle-working icon from you and no one on you. The icon was painted with the blessing of the Holy. John of Kronstadt, and for a long time belonged to the Venerable. Seraphim Vyritskomu.

Day 5.

Divine Liturgy and worship to shrines of Lavra.

Annozachatievsky monastery. Source of Holy Righteous Anna. Bathing in the holy spring.

Arriving in Kiev in the evening.
